International China Investment Forum (ICIF) 2013, gathering a minimum of 500 delegates


March 15, 2013 (Shanghai) - International China Investment Forum (ICIF) 2013 will be held in China on November 6, gathering a minimum of 500 delegates. Since inception in 2002, in the past 11 years, ICIF has been organized in over 40 countries.

As one of the largest “China Invest Abroad” forum, participant of 2013 ICIF will be able to meet over 200 Chinese Companies from 15 industries including manufacturing, agricultural, trading, financial services, electronic, automobile, healthcare, food and beverages, machinery, property etc.

China Investment Forum (ICIF) launched in Guatemala


November 21,2012 Guatemala - For a long time, many Chinese delegations have visited Latin America and have tried to cover as much as they can in less than a week, and many Latin America CEO's constantly visit Chinese fairs and are overwhelmed by the enormous opportunities. But, which is the real success of those road shows? Latin American CEO's are interested in exporting to China, but how difficult it is to meet the ideal partner in a long-term basis?

The International China Investment Forum (ICIF) is an event whose purpose is to build a bridge between Chinese and Latin American companies helping them to understand each other and providing them the real business oriented environment.
  
ICIF 2012 was successfully completed with close to 100 participants. ICIF 2012 was already in the news even previously to the date it took place. Among the media coverage, Guatemalan TV Channels Canal 3 and Canal Antigua, Newspaper Publinews from worldwide Metro Group, and in 5 radio stations of the Guatemalan radio group RCN. They all were very interested in knowing about the plans for ICIF 2013.

That is why, it is critical to point out that Manufacturing, Agriculture and Trading will be the focus of ICIF Shanghai 2013. China Petro (CNPC) Latin America President Gong Ben Cai received by Dr. Marcus Lee at ICIF


November 15, 2012 (Lima, Peru) - China Petro (CNPC) Latin America President Gong Ben Cai was invited by International China Investment Forum (ICIF) to deliver keynote speech during the forum. Dr. Marcus Lee and Gong Ben Cai was in the panel of ICIF in 2011 discussing issues on success factors for Chinese companies to invest abroad. In 2012, Mr. Gong shares on China Economic Outlook. Also present was some 40 Chinese companies senior management, together with Chinese official medias.

According to Gong Ben Cai, China is becoming an important player in the global economy, with China-Latin America interactions improve tremendously, Latin American countries is becoming a focus for Chinese investments. China-Peru trading relations also among the best in the region. Currently, China is Peru’s largest export market and second largest import market. At the same time, Chinese companies investing in Peru also improving at an average of 20% annually. Currently there are around 50 Chinese companies join the Chinese Association, consist of 16 mining companies, 10 trading companies, 9 technology and services companies. Investing in Peru and China is attractive for both countries. Organizing the International China Investment Forum (ICIF) to discuss opportunities in trade, energy and mining is very useful.

November 14, 2012 (Lima, Peru) - Peru Minister of Energy & Mining, H. E Jorge Merino was invited by International China Investment Forum (ICIF) to deliver keynote speech at Country Club Peru. The  theme of ICIF 2012 forum was “Exploring Opportunities in Trading, Energy & Mining”. ICIF Chairman Dr. Marcus Lee met with Minister Jorge Merino. International China Investment Forum (ICIF), one of the largest China Investment and Trade forum was founded in 2002, it has organized seminars and conferences in over 40 countries in the past 10 years.

According to Minister Jorge Merino, he said Peru offers a stable investment environment. Peru government respect and protect foreign direct investment. In terms of tax, Peru Government offer equal treatment to  domestic and international companies. Nevertheless, some of the citizens may have concerns on environment and water pollutions during the mining exploration which may cause social problem. Hence, the Peruvian government will improve its communications between this parties, to ensure social issues are taken care while economic development take place.

International China Investment Forum (ICIF) 2012 successfully launched in Peru


November 14, 2012 (Lima, Peru), International China Investment Forum (ICIF) 2012 was co-organized by Hampton Court Investment Bank, Delmar Ugarte law firm and Chinese Association. The forum took place at Country Club Conference center in the city center of Lima.

Keynote Speakers include Peru Minister of Energy and Mines H.E Jorge Merino, Ambassador of The People’s Republic of China to Peru Ms. Huang Min Hui, China Petro (SAPET) President Mr. Gong Ben Cai, Peru Import & Export President Juan Varilias, ICIF Worldwide Chairman & Managing Director of Hampton Court Investment Bank Dr. Marcus Lee, Delmar Ugarte partners Manuel Ugarte and Ms. Viviana Garcia.

Total of around 200 audience participated in 2012 International China Investment Forum, making it one of the largest China Investment and Trade forum in the country. ICIF has been organizing seminars and conferences in Peru since 2009.

Trade between Peru and China would reach 15 billion in 2012, 15.38 percent higher than the 13 billion expected in 2011, Trade between Peru and China surpassed 10 billion in 2010 and this year would grow 32 percent. This increase is largely fueled by the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed between the two countries and which entered into force in March 2010
